Rotary International
In 1905, Paul Harris founded the Rotary Club of Chicago, which grew into Rotary International, a network of more than 35,000 clubs that bring together business, professional, and community leaders to better their communities. The U.S. has the largest number of Rotary members at more than 300,000. The issues addressed vary by club but include providing basic need items like food, clothing, personal hygiene products, and school supplies; financial literacy; and employment assistance; as well as supporting other organizations addressing poverty.
