Rhode Island Interfaith Coalition

Drawing on the first Fighting Poverty with Faith meeting in 2008, 29 faith and advocacy organizations in Rhode Island formed the Rhode Island Interfaith Coalition to Reduce Poverty. The local coalition continues to host an annual conference including a vigil and legislative advocacy at the Rhode Island State House to address state affordable housing, food and nutrition, healthcare, education, liveable wages, and transportation.
