It is a matter of will. What WILL you do?

Don't be fooled by our country's size or culture's complexity. Ending poverty is about the will each of us has to make it happen. We know how to create economic stability for individuals and families. We have all the resources we could possibly need. Heck, we throw out more food each day than is necessary to feed all of our neighbors who go hungry.

Our current approach leaves people - and whole communities - neglected in every part of every state, often quite near a thriving community. We have the knowledge and resources to ensure economic stability and opportunity for all of our neighbors; the question is will we do it? Will you do it?

Will you advocate for better transportation access for individuals living in low-income communities? If you do, you increase the likelihood that adults there will find stable employment.

Will your company create partnerships to reduce childcare costs for your employees so a high percentage of their salaries does not have to go to that each month - and can instead go to creating savings?

There are many ways to solve this: visit nationalpovertyplan.org and show you have the will.
