Create a mental health resource guide for employees

Mental health issues present disproportionately greater obstacles for individuals living below low income conditions.

Work across departments to increase awareness of resources in the community, providing information on how individuals living below low income conditions can access, pay for, and evaluate practitioners and approaches.

To get started:

  1. Identify mental health challenges faced in a disproportionate manner by community members living below low income conditions.

  2. Connect with existing mental health providers in low-income areas of your community to learn of gaps in access and outcomes.

  3. Produce a guide in concert with other departments and with feedback from all interested employees.

  4. Ensure all contributions to and usage of the online or written guide is confidential.
