Fund organizations focused on financial empowerment
Many individuals living below 50% AMI do not have exposure to financial management tools and resources.
There are many existing nonprofits and educational institutions supporting people working toward financial stability and developing innovative initiatives for the achievement of financial empowerment. Partnering and supporting these groups increases their capacity and allows you to engage in identifying and building best practices.
To get started:
Identify organizations in your community that are working on financial empowerment for those below 50% AMI.
Develop a long-term strategy of support and accountability.
Build networks of support for your partner agencies and for the individuals served through the various programs.
