Partner with community leaders to develop neighborhood improvement projects
There is a scarcity of thriving public spaces in communities with high numbers of individuals and families living below the NPPS.
Connect your members with resident groups to identify projects to undertake or communal spaces in need of greater maintenance, as improving community spaces is one way to increase pride.
To get started:
Identify communities in your region that have high levels of violence.
Build partnerships with individuals or groups in those communities with a focus on the public spaces.
Implement projects that are inclusive of residents.
