Implement a transit pass donation program
Many people living under the NPPS struggle to access reliable, safe transportation.
Establish campaigns such as "Pass it On," through which you hold events or members regularly donate transit passes to help reduce costs for individuals who cannot afford to purchase all that they need.
To get started:
Identify resident groups or programs in your community that accept transit pass donations, or build partnerships in low-income communities.
Establish a plan whereby your members can donate funds, actual passes, or your organization can have a special event to collect passes.
Share this resource with association members and individuals in need.
